Carl E. Woodham

Carl E. Woodham (Kalakantha das, left) is the president of Krishna House. A devotee since 1972, he is a humble grandfather and the author of four books on Krishna Consciousness, including the Gator’s Guide to the Gita. He is married to Jitamitra devi dasi (right) who is the treasurer of Krishna House, having practiced bhakti yoga since 1971.

About the Author: Carl Woodham began a life-long fascination with Bhagavad-gita as a philosophy student in New Mexico in 1972 as a disciple of the world's foremost Vedic scholar, A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami. He is the author of numerous poems and articles, lectures frequently, and has appeared on nationally and internationally syndicated television programs. Carl Woodham studied Bhagavad-gita and other Vedic literatures for over 30 years. He lives near Gainesville, Florida.
